Perhaps the most famous pornstar in the world, Jenna Jameson got her start as an exotic dancer in the Las Vegas area while still by using a fake I.D. and raked in $2000 a night. After a bad breakup with her boyfriend, Jenna decided to start taking off her clothes in front of the camera - with her first adult role being a softcore one with best friend Nikki Tyler for director Andrew Blake.

Jameson was advised against doing porn by her agent who felt she was pretty enough to do mainstream modeling, but she was insistent on entering adult films. Jameson was addicted to cocaine, LSD, and meth even before she entered porn. She was forced to detox with family and friends. Her addictions likely scared larger studios like Vivid from signing her. But her off-screen issues with drugs allowed the much smaller Wicked Pictures to sign Jameson to an exclusive content. Wicked made Jameson their star and their entire studio was built around her. Her first Wicked release was Blue Movie, followed by a string of other Wicked hits, including Conquest, Flashpoint, Satyr, and Dream Quest. Jameson became so popular that Vivid wanted a part of the biggest pornstar on earth so they worked out a lucrative deal with Wicked to be able to get her on loan, where she would make several huge movies including 1996's Jenna Loves Rocco with porn legend Rocco Siffredi.

When her Wicked contract ran out in 2000, Jenna and then-boyfriend Jay Grdina created Club Jenna, a new adult production company, which has become one of the most successful in the industry. Jenna began performing exclusively for Club Jenna and occasionally for Vivid Pictures, which became the distributor of Club Jenna products. The first Club Jenna release, Briana Loves Jenna with Briana Banks was a smash with porn viewers, becoming one of Jameson's best-selling titles to date. In 2006, Playboy Enterprises bought Club Jenna, which opened up a world of outlets for Club Jenna products to be sold through that included TV, video-on-demand, and cellular phones. Playboy also renamed one of their Spice Network pay-per-view channels ClubJenna.

Jameson and Grdina were married in 2003, but the relationship didn't last, and Jenna filed for divorce in 2006. However, Jenna didn't stay single for long. She was attached briefly to musician Dave Navarro, but that love match quickly flickered out to make way for the relationship with UFC bad boy Tito Ortiz. That relationship would also not last long.

In 2008, Jameson officially retired from doing porn. Although she would still do cam shows and dance up until 2014. At her peak, Jameson claimed she was making over $25,000 a night from dancing and nearly $80,000 for one day of filming.

Jameson was openly bisexual and claimed to have slept with over 100 different women in her private life before and during her porn career. Her steady girlfriend was Nikki Tyler who Jameson would date between boyfriends. Jameson would call Tyler the love of her life and wife. Jameson would marry a woman in 2023, but they would divorce in 2024.

As of November 2024, Jenna has amassed 545,000 followers on Instagram and 18,100 subscribers on her YouTube platform.
