Prinzzess was born Sarah Pershing on February 6, 1985, in Florida. She spent part of her early childhood in South Florida before moving to Belize at age six, where her parents served as Seventh-day Adventist missionaries in an Amish community. Growing up as a tomboy on a farm, she lived a sheltered life until returning to Jacksonville, Florida, before turning 18. Her ethnicity is a mix of Cherokee and Seminole Native American descent, with additional Honduran and Hungarian heritage, and she identifies as American. Professionally, she is known as Prinzzess, though she has used aliases like Prinzzess Felicity Jade, Prinzzess Sahara, Prinzzess Sasha, and Candi Moore in various contexts.
